The agreement for the takeover of DuMont Reiseverlag by Mairs Geographischer Verlag is signed on 02.11.2004.
Following the takeover of the Cologne-based DuMont Reiseverlag and given the 10% stake in Mairs Geographischer Verlag held by M. DuMont Schauberg, the publishing group is renamed MAIRDUMONT on 1 January 2005.
