KOMPASS hiking guides are a more detailed complement to the established hiking maps.

50-70 suggested hiking routes, ranging from brief walks to proper mountain tours, were researched on location.

The tours are marked according to their level of difficulty and are provided with profile sketches which show the height difference to be overcome, the walking time and the opportunities for stopping off along the way.

Every tour description in the KOMPASS Hiking Guide is complemented by a cartographic tour sketch. It is therefore possible to find your way around accurately, even where the routes are not marked. Virtually 100 hiking guides describe the most beautiful round tours and one-way tours in words and pictures.

You will find the most beautiful cycling tours here. All known cyclepaths and recommended routes in the area are shown in the KOMPASS Cycling Maps. All classes of road are taken into account and bicycle hire and service centres are naturally included as well. Space is also given over to places of interest and relaxation along the route, with details of castles, churches, museums, spas, golf courses, wildlife parks etc.
